Right: Abraham Lincoln, born 1809, Sinking Spring Farm, Kentucky -- 2nd great-grandson of Robert SHIPLEY, Sr.
* Brice and Abraham had the same 2nd great-grandfather, so they were 3rd cousins. President Abraham Lincoln is my 3rd cousin, five generations removed. Brice SHIPLEY is my 2nd great-grandfather. Brice and Elvira Clarisa ALDRICH traveled the Oregon Trail in 1864. Grandma Elvira wrote in her diary while traveling the Oregon Trail. You can read the SHIPLEY diary here:
