Scripture
for today: Psalm
119:1-2, Blessed are the undefiled in the way, who walk in
the law of
the Lord! Blessed are those who keep His
testimonies, who seek Him with
the whole heart!
Scripture
for today: Psalm
71:3, 5, 8, 12, 14-16, 19-20, 23: "Be my strong refuge, to which I may
resort continually; You have given the commandment to save me, for You
are my rock and my fortress. For You are my hope, O Lord God; You are
my trust from my youth. Let my mouth be filled with Your praise and
with Your glory all the day. O God, do not be far from me; O God, make
haste to help me! But I will hope continually, and will praise You yet
more and more. My mouth shall tell of Your righteousness and Your
salvation all the day, for I do not know their limits. I will go in the
strength of the Lord God; I will make mention of Your righteousness, of
Yours only. Also Your righteousness, O
God, is very high, You who have
done great things; O God, who is like You? You, who have shown me great
and severe troubles, shall revive me again, and bring me up again from
the depths of the earth. My lips shall greatly rejoice when I sing to
You, and my soul, which You have redeemed.

Scripture
for today: Colossians
3:2, 10, 12-17: "Set your mind on things above, not on things on the
earth. And have put on the new man who is renewed in knowledge
according to the image of Him who created him. Therefore, as the elect
of God, holy and beloved, put on tender
mercies, kindness, humility,
meekness, longsuffering; bearing with one another, and forgiving one
another, if anyone has a complaint against another; even as Christ
forgave you, so you also must do. But above all these things put on
love, which is the bond of perfection. And let the peace of God rule in
your hearts, to which also you were called in one body; and be
thankful. Let the word of Christ dwell in
you richly in all wisdom,
teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual
songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord. And whatever you
do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord
Jesus, giving thanks
to God the Father through
Him."

Scripture
for today: Romans
5:1-4, 8-9 -- Therefore, having been justified
by faith, we have peace
with God through our Lord Jesus Christ, through whom also we have
access by faith into this grace in which we stand, and rejoice in hope
of the glory of God. And not only that,
but we also glory in
tribulations, knowling that tribulation produces perseverance; and
perseverance, character, and character, hope. But God demonstrates His
own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners,
Christ died
for us, much more then, having now been justified by His blood,
we
shall be saved from wrath
through Him.
