Today I go in for a sleep study again. Hopefully I will get the CPAP
machine to help me breathe. Tonight the Power Team will be at Shelter
Cove! Read from The Pilgrim's Progress. Read about dinos and humans
coexisting. The evidence that dinosaurs and humans lived at the same
time is astounding!!

Didn't sleep well last night during the sleep study. Went to men's
breakfast with Dara at Shelter Cove. Pastor Nick preached on prayer.
Took a long nap today to recover. Worked on chores for about four
hours. Dara is working on cleaning his room. Next it's Ben's turn.
Scripture
for today: Proverbs 3:5-6,
5) Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own
understanding; 6) In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make
your paths straight.
Psalm 19:1,
"The heavens declare the glory of God; the skies proclaim the work of his hands."
QUOTES ...
*** "...The Smiles of Heaven can never be expected On a Nation that
disregards the eternal rules of Order and Right, which Heaven Itself
Ordained." President George Washington
*** "I have lived, sir, a long time, and the longer I live, the more
convincing proofs I see of this truth -- God Governs in the Affairs of
Men, And if a Sparrow cannot fall to the ground without His notice, Is
it possible that an empire can rise without His aid?" Benjamin Franklin
*** "Except the Lord build the house, They labor in vain who build it." "I
firmly believe this." Benjamin Franklin, 1787, Constitutional Convention
*** "The religion which has introduced civil liberty is the religion of
Christ and His Apostles.... This is genuine Christianity and to this we
owe our free constitutions of government."Noah Webster
*** "Whether this [new government] will prove a blessing or a curse will
depend upon the use our people make of the blessings which a gracious
God hath bestowed on us. If they are wise, they will be great and
happy. If they are of a contrary character, they will be miserable.
Righteousness alone can exalt them as a nation [Proverbs 14:34].
Reader! Whoever thou art, remember this, and in thy sphere practice
virtue thyself and encourage it in others." Patrick Henry
*** "Can the liberties of a nation be thought secure when we have removed
their only firm basis, a conviction in the minds of the people that
these liberties are the gift of God? That they are not to be violated
but with His wrath? I tremble for my country when I reflect that God is
just; that His justice cannot sleep forever." President Thomas Jefferson
*** "The reason that Christianity is the best friend of Government is
because Christianity is the only religion that changes the heart."
President Thomas Jefferson
*** "Of all systems of morality, ancient or modern, which have come under
my observation, none appear to be so pure as that of Jesus." Thomas Jefferson, To William Canby, 1813
*** "The highest story of the American Revolution is this: it connected in
one indissoluble bond the principles of civil government with the
principles of Christianity." President John Adams
*** "Before any man can be considered as a member of civil society, he must
be considered as a subject of the Governor of the Universe. And to the
same Divine Author of every good and perfect gift [James 1:17] we are
indebted for all those privileges and advantages, religious as well as
civil, which are so richly enjoyed in this favored land." James Madison
*** "We've staked the whole future of American civilization not on the
power of government, far from it. We have staked the future of all our
political institutions upon the capacity of each and all of us . . . to
Govern ourselves according to the commandments of God. The future and
success of America is not in this Constitution, but in the laws of God
upon which this Constitution is founded." President James Madison
*** "Human law must rest its authority ultimately upon the authority of
that law which is divine....Far from being rivals or enemies, religion
and law are twin sisters, friends, and mutual assistants. Indeed, these
two sciences run into each other." James Wilson, a signer of the Constitution and an original Justice on the U.S. Supreme Court
*** "a true American Patriot must be a religious man...He who neglects his
duty to his maker, may well be expected to be deficient and insincere
in his duty towards the public" First Lady Abigail Adams
*** "The Bible is the Rock on which this Republic rests." President Andrew Jackson
*** My
only hope of salvation is in the infnite, transcendent love of God
manifested to the world by the death of His Son upon the Cross. Nothing
but His blood will wash away my sins. I rely exclusively upon it. Come,
Lord Jesus! Come quickly! 14 Benjamin Rush, Signer of the Declaration
*** I
believe that there is one only living and true God, existing in three
persons, the Father, the Son, and the Holy Ghost, the same in
substance, equal in power and glory. That the Scriptures of the old and
new testaments are a revelation from God and a complete rule to direct
us how we may glorify and enjoy Him. [15] Roger Sherman, Signer of both the Declaration and the Constitution
*** I
shall now entreat . . . you in the most earnest manner to believe in
Jesus Christ, for "there is no salvation in any other" [Acts 4:12]. . .
. [I]f you are not clothed with the spotless robe of His righteousness,
you must forever perish. [16] John Witherspoon, Signer of the Declaration
*** "We
have no government armed with power capable of contending with human
passions unbridled by morality and religion... Our Constitution was
made only for a moral and a religious people. It is wholly inadequate
to the government of any other." John Adams

Went to Big Valley with Benny. Tim's father spoke at our singles Bible
study. During the worship service, several missionaries spoke of
ministry work they are involved with. One man told us about the many
miracles that God is doing among the Muslum people in Iran, especially
after the violent earthquake that killed over 80,000 people. Two
terroists gave their life to Jesus! Now that is an awesome miracle!!
Thank you Jesus. Another miracle ... a baby survived being buried in
the rubble four days!
Dara went to the movies with David. Cody finished
bleeding the brakes on my van. Now the tran, Grsmission is slipping .......
Catastrophic events are strong evidence supporting
the global flood of the Bible. Just a few examples in the article I'm
reading (see link above): 1) 1976, Great Teton Dam, Idaho, 2) 1959,
Madison River Canyon earthquake, southern Montana, 3) 1929, Grand Banks
earthquake, near Newfoundland
