• Friday, May 26th, 2006 -- Went to Celebrate
Recovery at
Shelter Cove. Peter Whiebird, a Christian recording artist, sang some
of his sangs, and played his guitar. Then he did a comedy routine. Just
about laughed myself silly! Praise God for laughter, and a merry heart.
• Saturday, May 27th, 2006 -- Fun at the park! Met at
the
church to get the stuff ready. Helped set up things at the park. Took
turns serving food, and getting the balloons ready to give
away. Daddy and Ben went to church with Bradley, at Big Valley Grace. Pastor Rick was teaching from Romans chapter three.
• Sunday, May 28th, 2006 -- Went swimming with Benny and Bradley.
Worked out with weights and machines first, while Benny climbed the
rock wall. Benny's friend Zach went to Celebrate Recovery at the
Nazarine church. Zach spent the night with us.
• Monday, May 29th, 2006 -- Zach, Ben, Bradley and I went to the
fitness club. Worked out while the kids climbed the rock wall, then we
all hit the pool. Spent the afternoon fellowshipping with Bradley, and
watching Star Wars.
• Tuesday, May 30th, 2006 -- Tom put together the pictures I took
at Graceada Park into a slide show for the meeting at Celebrate
Recovery. Darrell (from Shelter Cove) shared his awesome
testimony.

-- Dara received an award for being faithful helping out with the
children's ministry at Shelter Cover Celebrate Recovery. I was very
proud of Dara and his commitment to serving God and reaching out to
help others.
• Friday, October 27, 2006
-- Benny and daddy went to the 12x12 AA meeting. Tonight was birthday
night, and I got my 26-year AA chip!! I got to share some of my
testimony, giving thanks to my Higher Power, Jesus Christ. I'm glad
that Benny could be there to see me get my chip.
We made it to Shelter Cove for Celebrate Recovery,
just in time for the last five minutes of teaching and the last song. I
grabbed something to drink, then joined the small group. Had a nice
chat with a good friend. One of the youth leaders commented on how
mature Dara is. The leader wants to work on training Dara and another
person.
• Friday, November 10, 2006 --
Chelsea and Dara practiced songs for Celebrate Recovery. Then we all
went to Celebrate Recovery at Shelter Cove. Dara and Chelsea played
their guitars for the kids. Worship was awesome as usual. Don invited
anyone to spend Thanksgiving at his house!
• Friday, March 2, 2007 --
Been awhile since I've made additions to my Celebrate Recovery jounral.
The past several months have been somewhat stressful. Our good friend
Michael Johnsons passed away several days before Christmas. Michael is
rejoicing with our Lord Jesus Christ for eternity. Tonight one of guys
from the Power Team is demonstrating feats of strength. I won't be able
to stay, because I have to do the sleep study. I hung out for awhile
eating hotdogs and fellowshipping with friends. Benny took three of his
friends, including Billy.
• Friday, August 1, 2008 --
Where has the past year gone ... ? Another powerful testimony tonight

Larry and I helped clean up after dinner. Cody and
her friends have been cooking up the food every Friday night at
Celebrate! Thanks Cody and friends! God bless you. We've been having
pizza for several years ..... so it's nice to have something different
for a change.
Our men's small group has been growing .... About
14-15 men showed up for the meeting. One man brought his son along.
